This place is a favorite among both locals and tourists. It's over 100 years old and it has many things on the menu that one does not find in other places in Rome. Extremely affordable prices, out of this world food, and friendly staff. Easily the best meal in Rome.
Either have a reservation or show up 10 mins before opening for dinner, as there is a line out the door every evening this place is open. -

The hype is definitely worth it. From service to food, everything was phenomenal. Although the pasta and pizza were really great, I think the absolute best was the tiramisu. It was so good that I didn't even have a chance to take a picture and I believe we finished it in less than a minute. We had to order another one even though we were so full by the end. I would say my least favorite was the cheese bowel pasta - although it was cool to watch them make it, the pasta was too cheesy for me and my stomach felt very heavy after eating it. The seafood pasta, however, was delicious.
Everything on the menu is super affordable. We ordered so much but the total came out to be only about 100 euros for the five of us - in NYC, this amount of food and quality will definitely be over $200.

Best pasta in all of Rome !! Delicious , We were so tired of the same food everywhere the food here is authentic! And amazing attention feels like a family business.
Come early or call ahead to make a reservation because the restaurant get very packed

If i can give more than five stars, i would. The food is authentic italian, service is good, not pricey as you would assume.
Make sure to make a reservation because it is often fully booked. People queued before it is even open, so having a reservation guarantees you will have a table. -

Good food, good service, good location, traditional decor....would go again.... We're not novices to Italy, so this is not just an emotional,overjoyed review....lol....just honest...
